Just after completing his work on Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater last year, Norihiko Hibino decided to give a hand in solo creation again. Behold his new solo album! We all know Mr. Hibino thanks to his wonderfully well-built ambiant tunes, with a futuristic taste in Metal Gear Solid 2 and with a sixties one in MGS3. Now, he introduces to us a lot of fresh new styles that we haven't heard in any of his video game creations. This new album is called
AKASHI, which means "light" in Japanese. But the best is yet to come: this time, it won't be released only in Japan, but also in America and Europe!
Norihiko Hibino tells us that "the disc will be released in states in September and a little bit later in Europe." However, the labels are yet to be announced. Be sure Squaremusic will keep you informed about this! About the Japanese release, Hibino-san says: "It will be released on July13th from Bellwood Records."
